The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it is actually alarmed about the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie website and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services level status sassa developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to here a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
